Pastor Anthony Robertson was born in Sacramento, CA, where he was baptized at an early age. He met the love of his life, Paula Robinson; and on December 29, 1985 they sealed their love with marriage vows. God blessed them with three children, Monique , Anthony Terrell (Chelsea) and Brittney Robertson; and four handsome grandsons, Jaylen Hearne, Anthony Christian, Niles Jr. and Aamir Anthony Niles Overall and two beautiful granddaughters, Destiny Denise Rachel Robertson and Paris Monae Walls.

From October 1985 through November 1996 Pastor Robertson served in the US Army as a dedicated soldier. In 1989, Pastor Robertson was called to duty to protect his country in the Desert Shield/Desert Storm War. After being honorably discharged from the military, God blessed him with his current job at Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD).

 

On Sunday, April 11, 1999, Pastor Robertson was saved and joined Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, with his family joining him shortly afterwards. He was shaped and molded under the anointed leadership of his father in the ministry, Pastor Alonzo G. Morris. On September 9, 1999, at 5:00 a.m. in the morning, he was called to preach the Gospel, and preached his first sermon on December 5th, 1999 and two souls gave their life to Christ.

After serving nine years of faithful service at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, the Lord revealed to Pastor Robertson that he was to “go” and serve under the leadership of Dr. John C. Rogers. On June 1, 2008, Pastor Robertson and his family joined the New Home Missionary Baptist Church in Sacramento, CA. Rev. Anthony Robertson was elected on March 19, 2010 to serve as the fourth Pastor of NHMBC.

In 2014, Pastor Anthony Robertson was appointed to serve as the 1st Vice President of the Northern District Baptist Association, Congress of Christian Education. In 2019 Pastor Robertson was appointed to serve as the President of the Congress of Christian Education for the Northern District. He is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies. He is truly a servant of God and loves Him with his whole heart.
